We’ve been getting a lot of questions via email and social media regarding the status of the official Hasbro’s Fans’ Choice poll for the 3.75″ Vintage Collection. Per Hasbro press release and StarWars.com’s post, the poll was to have started yesterday (April 26) and run until April 30. As of this post, the poll has yet to go live but we’ll announce it as soon as it does.
There seems to be a touch of confusion surrounding the Celebration Exclusive 6″ Luke Skywalker in regard to the card back. The photography shown on HasbroToyShop today doesn’t convey the reflective quality of the special foil treatment it has, leading to claims that the card back is different. We can confirm that it is the EXACT SAME as what was sold at Star Wars Celebration. The two products were simply photographed under different lighting conditions and at different angles. DO NOT overpay for the Celebration Exclusive “foil card” version.
Tonight we spotlight the custom work of Yakface forum moderator Jodo, who shows off his great rendition of a Blue Squadron X-Wing from Rogue One.
Who knows, maybe Hasbro will release this as part of their upcoming Vintage line? Check it out and share your thoughts after the jump!
Still on the hunt for the short-packed R2-D2 and Han Solo from the 40th Anniversary Collection? Pop into your nearest Walgreens as we’ve been receiving and sharing multiple reports on social media of them hitting steadily across the country.
Thanks to best_before_1984 for the above image.

Our latest Yakfinities Customizing Challenge has just concluded, and this was one of the best ones yet. The volume of customs submitted for the Rogue One theme was off the charts, and the level of talent shown off here is mind boggling.
Check out the full report and see who is walking away with prizes after the jump!
The votes have been tabulated and we now have your top 6 characters to submit to Hasbro for the 2017 Vintage Fans’ Choice poll! Click on through to check out the list.
Thank you to all who participated (and followed the rules)!
Voting is now closed and the counting has begun! We will reveal your “Top 6” on Friday after we submit the selections to Hasbro. May the odds be ever in your favor and thanks to all that participated!
UPDATE: Just a bit of info on the tabulation, if you submitted more than one vote from the same email address or social handle, ALL of your votes are eliminated as you are clearly trying to cheat or skew the results. If you posted anything in subject line of your email other than what was instructed, your vote was not counted because “rules”.
Hasbro has sent word that the 6″ Black Series Grand Moff Tarkin with IT-O Interrogator Droid will be released in Spring 2018, not Fall 2017 as previously indicated.
In case you missed it before, preorders have opened again for the GameStop exclusive 6″ Black Series Battlefront II Inferno Squadron TIE Fighter Pilot.
Thanks to Joe B. for the alert.
