The Realm Recap is back after the Memorial Day Weekend bring and in our absence, there were plenty of developments in collecting. Collectors success at retail has started to improve as more folks are finding Black Series figures (in both scales) at their local stores. eBay caused a bit of a frenzy this week as a notorious seller posted the first auction for a collectible from The Force Awakens — a 6″ First Order Stormtrooper which closed at a ridiculous price. Is it legit??? Also this week, new store finds from LEGO, product news for Disney Infinity 3.0, custom 6″ figures and vehicles as well as a new character name revealed fro The Force Awakens! It’s all on Episode 63 of The Realm Recap!
It was only a matter of time, but the Hasbro 6″ First Order Stormtrooper figure from The Force Awakens hit eBay recently courtesy of seller VipersKingdom. It is sold out now but that is likely to change based on past history. If you absolutely must have the figure now, bookmark the seller’s page and check back often.
Thanks to fellow Wolfpack Podcast team member Corey for the heads up.
UPDATE: It is back up now as an auction listing – current price $510.00

Forum member Jodo has posted a new bit on his blog about the current state of Hasbro’s Star Wars lineup. In particular, a focus on what so many of us encounter when we walk into a retail store, planning to spend some money on the brand, but just can’t find anything we want. And of course, the price hike to $12.99 that many outlets now charge for The Black Series.
