Here is a quick update about a bunch of cool new pre-orders and the latest arrivals from Big Bad Toy Store!
Our friends at JediDefender have received official confirmation/clarification from Hasbro that the 2013 Clone Wars (wave 1), 2013 Movie Heroes (wave 1) will not be coming to US markets.
Our friends at Jeditemplearchives have come through with some views of the new Movie Heroes card backs – check out their gallery after the jump!
Target is having a sale on basic figures this week. Vintage Figures are $6.99 each, while Movie Heroes and Clone Wars are $7.99 each.
Our friend JD has sent in a few more images of the Walmart 8-pks revealing that some of those hard to find light-up figures and others (Anakin, Padme, Jar Jar) from Movie Heroes wave 2 will be included in these sets as well. Click on through for a few more images.
I ventured out this morning to my local Fleet Farm to check out their annual Toyland kick off and while I didn’t find anything “new” per se, I did see a nice selection of Deluxe/Class I vehicles, Clone Wars (Wave 2), Movie Heroes (Wave 2) and TVC figures (Wave 4, Rev 1.). Click the images above for some quick snapshots of the aisle.
For collectors in the Midwest, Mills Fleet Farm’s Annual Toyland opens tomorrow at 7am. While their selection of Star Wars merchandise tends to be limited, there are opportunities to find some deals on basic figures, Deluxe/Class I vehicles and Playskool items. Click on through for the Star Wars items featured in this year’s catalog and visit fleetfarm.com to check out their entire catalog.
By far the most controversial of all the “Big One” vehicles, the Trade Federation MTT has been at Wal-Mart stores for a while, for $129.99… but it’s now started to show up at Toys”R”us stores… but the price? Click on the image above, and hold onto your socks!
While swinging by my local Toys”R”us store today to grab a few more figures from The Hobbit, I noticed that all Star Wars figures are Buy 1 Get 1 Free – while the selection consisted mostly of repacks, it’s still a very noteworthy sale!
It’s unknown if this is a national sale, but from what I recall, the stickers said the sale runs at least until sometime in November! I will correct that if I am wrong, but that’s what my fading memory tells me… unfortunately, my cell phone pic didn’t capture the image clear enough to clarify.
