Following a report by JediTempleArchives.com regarding leftovers of the 2010-2011 pegwarmers from The Vintage Collection being marked down on clearance at Wal-Mart, I came across markdowns as well here in St. Louis.
Markdowns may vary by store (or at all) but it might be worth your while to still keep your eyes peeled for some good deals before the official release date of January 30.
After the long holiday weekend, I hit up my usual Target stop this morning and found that they have placed their exclusive Luke’s Tauntaun, Landspeeder and Search for Luke Skywalker sets on clearance for $17.48 each. I also noticed that the Clone Wars Republic Attack Shuttle was down to $55.48. Your store’s clearance items may differ, but if you are looking for some post-holiday deals, start checking your stores ASAP as they won’t last long.
Yakreader EopieHerder sends in a shot of his TPM wave find at his local Target in North Carolina. With this news, it seems that this wave has made it from the West to the East Coast. It’ll only be a matter of time before it is at a store near you.
Also, forum member PadawanPapareports that he found some in Southwest Virginia as well.
Forum member TradeFederationSympathy posts in our forum his TPM wave find at his local Target in California. Click the image above to check it out in our forums.
Nice find TFS!
UPDATE: Forum member combatjedi posted an image of his partial TPM wave find in our forums as well.
Toys”R”Us this week is offering a $10 “Star Wars Bucks” gift card for Hasbro Star Wars purchases of $40 or more. Offer valid 1/30/12 through 2/13/12. Also in their weekly ad, they have the Death Star Trench Run set for $79.99 ($20 off) and additional sales on Star Wars Transformers and Role Play items.
Yakface forum member AaylaSecurasMan was able to score some of the 2012 TVC figures already at his local Target, and has shared some loose images for everyone’s viewing pleasure. Check them out by clicking here.
On a side note, how crazy is it that these are already hitting at Target, while online stores don’t even have them listed yet?
Reports are flying about that the TPM wave of Vintage Collection figures have hit retail at Target in the US. They have been found in Utah, Arizona and California. South of the border in Mexico, the first wave of Movie Heroes sporting the new Darth Maul packaging design have hit retail as well. Seems like Christmas has come a little early for some folks.
Our friends at JediDefender are reporting that Vintage Collection figures, specifically wave 4 (AOTC), have been found at TJ Maxx and for the super low price of $4.99! Head in over for the pic and check those stores if you have them in your area.
