A search through recently released shipping manifest data has revealed that the next wave of 6″ Black Series figures are currently en route to the US. Wave 24 breaks down as follows:
Kevin K. reports via the SWBS6 Club on Facebook that the new 6″ Black Series Probe Droid and the 40th Anniversary TESB Wave of figures have hit Meijer in Davison, Michigan.
Here is the first look at the rumored 6″ Black Series Imperial Probe Droid coming from Hasbro. The inclusion of the logo for The Empire Strikes Back is a great touch to the packaging. Thanks to Pagano Anthony for sharing this on our Facebook page. Image comes courtesy of Jon Jalove who reports finding them at Walmart in Chicago, IL.
While still unofficially announced, I have found shipping info for the upcoming 6″ Black Series Imperial Probe Droid (D3) and it is currently en route to U.S. warehouses from China.
Also showing up in EBGames system is a SKU (752667) for another “Gaming Great” Black Series figure – the Stormtrooper Commander. No word on which game it’s from but hopefully it is from The Force Unleashed.
Hunting around the Walmart app has yielded results for two more 6″ Black Series figures coming to the 40th Anniversary assortment: Lando Calrissian and the TIE Fighter Pilot. These two join our previous rumor list of figures bringing the count up to 15 non-exclusive figures for the assortment
Check your local Targets for restocks of the highly sought after (and scalped) exclusive 6″ Black Series Carbonized Mandalorian. My local store (Maple Grove, MN) replenished with 3 cases over night. Helmet nod to a couple collectors I got the chance to speak with this morning as well.
New York Toy Fair is a little over a month away and if you remember, it was a year ago today that we posted the rumor about the scale change to the new 5″ Galaxy of Adventures figures that replaced the standard “5 POA” basic figure line. As we look to 2020, there is rumbling that there may be another line/scale of figures and vehicles coming for the Star Wars brand from Hasbro. If you’re a fan of the 3.75″ Vintage Collection, 6″ Black Series, and/or 8″ Black Series Hyperreal this new line probably won’t interest you. If you (or your kids) are a fan of the stylized Galaxy of Adventures line it may, but again, this is something different than that too. More details to come as they are uncovered and corroborated.
As for new TVC and TBS products, I’ve heard nothing yet about additional figures/vehicles for The Rise of Skywalker, The Mandalorian or The Clone Wars aside from what we’ve already speculated and posted about in our rumor reports. The month is still young and I hope to uncover more info in the lead up to NY Toy Fair.
