New TBS Figures Arriving in the U.S.
Recent shipping info shows that solid cases of TBS Lt Galle, Sandtrooper, Amazon/Fan Channel exclusive Dathomir Witch (Halloween Edition) and the mainline version of Anakin Skywalker (ROTS) are arriving in the U.S.
Target Exclusive TBS “Ghost” Royal Guard (Halloween Edition) Figures Hitting Stores
Target stores are starting to receive their exclusive Black Series “Ghost” Imperial Royal Guard (Halloween Edition) figures. They are not register locked so checkout is not an issue.

There will not be a preorder for these according to Hasbro so you may just happen upon them in store or they’ll drop unexpectedly for in stock purchase via their website/app. We will update when that happens.
The two GITD images represent the figure charged with sunlight and the figure under blacklight. Spooky!

Most retailers are pre-sold out of the Black Series The Stranger (Qimir) figure but Gamestop now have theirs up for preorder.
Hasbro Needs To Stop Editing Images Removing Pins for The Black Series
Hasbro has resorted for quite some time to “fluffing up” their images by digitally removing pins from old sculpts that they are reissuing or “refreshing” for new sets. The Mace Windu and the Captain Rex are the latest offenders in this practice. Both upcoming figures use the old, original sculpts that feature exposed double pins in their elbows and knees. Don’t be fooled by the official press photos released.
Some may find this trivial, but others find this to be a clear act of deception aimed at unwitting consumers and collectors. It needs to stop.

Hasbro Pulse added and subsequently pulled the product page for the Black Series Anakin Skywalker & Obi-Wan Kenobi Set from SDCC. The page stated that it will in fact be available for preorder on August 1.
No mention of a time or if there is a Premium Member exclusive order window.

SDCC Preview Day: New Star Wars Reveals
Two new items were showcased today for those attending Hasbro’s breakfast/preview day. First a new Vintage Collection Jedi Spirits Special Action Figure 3pk containing Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda and Anakin Skywalker – with swappable Sebastian Shaw/Hayden Christensen likenesses! And second, a Black Series 2pk featuring (another) Mace Windu and Darth Sidious from their epic confrontation in Palaptine’s office. Figures include swappable heads, force lightning effects and hands (Sidious).
Look for both of these sets to be Hasbro Pulse exclusives NYCC/MCM London in the Fall.
