Like previous years, it looks like Target will have a special Fathers Day section that includes a few Star Wars items (toys, clothes, etc.) — 4 of which are Black Series figures with code names “APPLE“, “APRICOT” and “ACAI” (the 4th is currently unknown) and are priced at $24.99. These figures are planned for release starting as soon as Sunday, May 23 and may be the secondary code names for recently announced Black Series figures from The Clone Wars.
Thanks to TargetGod and Jason for some of the supporting intel.
Heads up Canada Collectors: Black Series Clone Wars Figures will be available for preorder on May 4 at ToysRUs Canada. No time is given for the launch.
Logic would dictate that they will be available for preorder at Target in the U.S. on that day as well. No official word yet.
After delay, after delay and after delay, it looks like orders for the Walmart Exclusive 6″ Black Series Clone Wars figures are finally starting to ship. If you kept your preorders, check your status for shipping info.
There is also word of another female character joining the Black Series line: Aurra Sing. It is unknown at this time if she will be branded as part of The Phantom Menace or The Clone Wars subgroup of figures but whatever the case I hope we get her in her alternate black outfit as well.
Remember, nothing is official until Hasbro confirms or unannounced product is found at retail.
An interesting bit of anonymous intel flowed my way today, and it looks like in 2021, we’ll be getting some long requested characters from The Clone Wars added to the Black Series line: Bo Katan and Asajj Ventress. I believe they are also general releases and not exclusives.

I received interesting word today that a new 6″ Black Series item has been listed in EBGames system as “Clone Trooper Deluxe”. Could we be getting an ARC Trooper finally or is this a standard clone with a bunch of weapons/accessories? We’ll just have to wait and see.
StarWarsPoodoo also provides us a first look at the standard released of Cad Bane from The Black Series Wave 27. This is the same figure from the upcoming exclusive set sans TODO-360.
Sponsor DorksideToys has updated their store with new images for the next repaint/reissue wave of Vintage Collection figures. There are some noticeable differences in how some of the figures are packaged in their bubbles as compared to their original runs and Obi-Wan’s reference photos looks to have been altered too. Head on over for a closer look at the carded and loose images.
