EW.com has posted an exclusive article revealing that there are 20+ books coming this year in the lead up to The Force Awakens.
At least 20 new books—from novels for adults and teens to storybooks and stickerbooks for younger kids—will be released this fall to fill the gap between 1983’s Return of the Jedi and this December’s The Force Awakens, EW has learned exclusively.

Hollywood Reporter has posted an exclusive article announcing that the Star Wars Saga (Episode I-VI) will be retold LEGO-style on DisneyXD as a lead up to The Force Awakens this December. LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales will entail five 22 minute episodes from R2-D2 and C-3PO’s point of view.
Funko has announced that the POP! Slave Leia will be reissued in special packaging to celebrate The Force Awakens. Watch for additional releases from their vault until the highly anticipated sequel is released.

Hasbro is making sure that by the time the new movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in December, kids can have any lightsaber they can imagine.
Launching this fall, Star Wars Bladebuilders debuts a line of compatible hilts, connectors and various lightsaber materials that let children use the simple gadgets of their favorite Jedi masters and Sith lords or come up with the craziest, most complicated combination ever. The line will be on display at New York City’s Toy Fair Saturday through Tuesday

As reported by our friends at Jedi News, VIPs attending UK Toy Fair were treated to a first look at merchandise for The Force Awakens from various manufacturers including Hasbro. As a parting gift, they were given a “TFA” emblazoned tote bag which will surely be a sought after item by memorabilia collectors.
