The Realm Recap is back after an extended break, but in our absence, plenty of news broke by way of crowd sourcing as Force Friday product continues to leak on to store shelves. We take a look at the latest reveals as well as our thoughts on the planned 18-hour global “unboxing” event from Disney/Lucasfilm. Officially, Disney did release their Infinity 3.0 system and the reviews are generally very positive. We close things out with a discussion on the new micro teaser Lucasfilm released via Instagram, Topps Trading Card app praises and our latest toys acquisitions. Topps has release updated information for their continuation of the Return of the Jedi 3D Widevision format that was started last year. It’s a single-purchase collector box with 44 widevision base cards telling the story of Revenge of the Sith in spectacular 3D lenticular technology.
Each box contains 2 hits – a sketch card plus either a medallion card, patch card, sketch medallion card, printing plate or autograph.

Topps.com is now offering collectors their SDCC Exclusive Over-sized Star Wars Trading Card Set. Each set includes 10 cards which measure 5×7 inches. There are only a limited number of sets still available and there will be a maximum of 5 sets available for purchase per household.
At 1pm, Topps will be giving away their new Star Wars Galactic Connexions trading discs to 50 lucky fans. The disc features the First Order Stormtrooper which will only be available at SDCC in an extremely limited quantity of 250. Topps Star Wars Galactic Connexions will be on sale on Force Friday, September 4th exclusively in Walmart with 85 characters to collect.
Next up – Topps will be hosting Steve Blum, the voice of Zeb from Star Wars Rebels, at booth 2913 at 3:30pm. He will be signing Topps cards for the first 50 fans.
Also, Topps has oversized vintage style cards for sale. There are ten sets to collect, each with ten cards for a total of 100.
