Eggmanstudios on Twitter shares with us a few new images of the upcoming Target Exclusive #VC143 Han Solo (Stormtrooper) figure.
There are errors and then there are errors. This one may be one of the best ones so far in terms of its uniqueness. Collector William M. from the We Backed the Barge Facebook group posted this amazing sample featuring the exclusive Yak Face affixed to the card, bubble and all, upside down. Congrats, that’s a keeper!
Now that some of us are starting to receive mighty Jabba’s Sail Barge, we’re curious what your first impressions are once having it in person! Are you blown away, or are you finding aspects you feel Hasbro should have done better on?

Personal Note: I’m reading from various buyers that the Ithorian corpse is not removable… that’s kind of a letdown. But overall most of what I’m reading is extremely positive, outside of some not-so-great experiences with boxes arriving damaged. I can’t wait to finally receive mine and get it all set up and hope we see several more offerings on par with this in the Star Wars 3.75″ line.

The first barge orders have started to arrive to collectors. Frank L. posted a few shots on Facebook but one of note has already sparked some discussion. There is no styrofoam corners in inside the box to prevent the Barge’s gorgeous box from damage. I suspect a few horror stories will be shared as a result of this.
Looks like Hasbro’s dipping back into the orange line 3.75″ Black Series again as a new listing has popped up on Walmart.com via Brickseek for a Luke Skywalker (Yavin Ceremony) figure for the Vintage Collection. No word yet on exclusivity. On a related note, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 6″ version of this figure before too long.
Hasbro.com has also posted new glam shots of the specialty/fan channel wave of Vintage Collection figures featuring new Photoreal versions of Han Solo (Echo Base), Princess Leia Organa (Hoth), Luke Skywalker (Endor) and Darth Vader. Click on through for a closer look.
Yak’s Top Ten returns, with the theme switching over to something that until recently didn’t seem to be in Hasbro’s game plan… PLAYSETS! But of course, something has changed at Hasbro on this front (for the better).

We’ve read and received several reports that the long-delayed Walmart Exclusive 3.75” TVC Mimban Stormtrooper has finally started to hit stores. The image above was from a store in Atlanta, GA. via darthdj666.
Update: if you’re looking to use Brickseek as a method of tracking these down, be sure to use the regular assortment code for the Vintage Collection (239252624) as the Mimban Stormtrooper quantities are tied to that number rather than its unique product SKU.

Looks like Hasbro Pulse’s first orders are arriving to collectors with mixed results. Twitter follower ScoobyDew79 received his order with damaged contents and wrong items shipped. Hopefully others have a better experience, leave a comment with yours.
