Rey (Island Journey). Mimban Stormtrooper. Elite Corps Clone Trooper. Three TVC figures we all thought we’d have by now (although Rey is enroute to collectors as we speak) but now it sounds like the next wave of Vintage figures will be following that trend of delayed gratification and will be available in March 2019. Preorders should still open next month… hopefully.
As 2018 draws to a close, I continue to research and scour the interwebs for clues of upcoming product from Hasbro for the new year. Our unpublished 2019 list is growing rapidly and recently I came across a new listing for a potential exclusive for April’s Star Wars Celebration Chicago.

For UK collectors trying to acquire the Vintage Collection Sail Barge, be assured that Hasbro is still pursuing a way to distribute it in that country in 2019. There has been alarm recently that it wasn’t going to happen at all. Hopefully we’ll hear something by Toy Fair 2019, if not before.

The previously delayed (November to January) Vintage Collection Elite Clone Trooper has been pushed back again by Hasbro and tentatively slotted for a March arrival according to Entertainment Earth’s product page. Rey (Island Journey) is still listed for a January availability.

Entertainment Earth has updated their pages for the Vintage Collection Rey (Island Journey) and Elite Clone Trooper figures to reflect a new estimated arrival date of January 2019.
