Instagram follower lurkmodesquad reports finding a set of the new Retro Collection figures thanks to our report from earlier today. He say he grabbed these from the Coral Springs, FL location and left the rest for other collectors.
It looks like Walmart is starting to set their endcaps with new displays featuring the TBS Boba Fett Helmet, TBS 40th Anniversary figures and the Retro Collection TESB Wave. They are not register locked. Thanks to RM from southern Ohio for the images.
We’ve received and read multiple reports of collectors getting cancellation notifications for some or all of their orders for the upcoming second wave of Walmart Exclusive Retro Collection figures due to being unable to meet the demand of the items.
Back in February, we exclusively reported 2 new waves of Vintage Collection figure coming later this year* and there has been an adjustment to the name of one of the figures in the first wave. Originally, it was listed as “CL VIN Clone Trooper” on Amazon and “Airborne/Paratrooper” in other systems. I checked the info again today using the Walmart app and it is now listed as Clone Commander Wolffe. It is unknown if this is a new version or a repack* of the snow gear figure released in the 3.75″ Black Series line.
*Release date may change due to production and shipping delays
Hunting around the Walmart app has yielded results for two more 6″ Black Series figures coming to the 40th Anniversary assortment: Lando Calrissian and the TIE Fighter Pilot. These two join our previous rumor list of figures bringing the count up to 15 non-exclusive figures for the assortment
Searching via the Walmart app and online has yielded results for that still as of yet unannounced Luke Skywalker Snowspeeder Pilot and Hoth Rebel Soldier coming to the 40th Anniversary Collection of 6″ Black Series carded figures to commemorative The Empire Strikes Back. These links join the other 5 figures revealed over the weekend.
Additional evidence supporting our original 6″ Deluxe (D3) Imperial Probe Droid rumor as been found after I was scanning through a few codes via the Walmart app. The product page for the as-of-yet unannounced figure is live on Walmart.com and the app but you obviously can’t order it yet. To be clear, THIS IS NOT A WALMART EXCLUSIVE. Our Master List page has been updated with the pertinent info.
