It appears that Target will be receiving an exclusive 6″ Black Series figure for the launch of merchandise on Triple Force Friday. An entry in their system lists a figure “Huck1 Copper” with a price point of $24.99. Based on what we know on code names, this is The Mandalorian and based on the leaked “Graphite” version of the Second Sister Inquisitor, the figure and packaging will probably feature a copper-like finish as well. For those keeping track, this will make another known variant joining Graphite, Pearl, and Red Metallic.
One more reveal for today as I also found an entry for a new 6″ Black Series figure from The Mandalorian codenamed “Bobby”. No clue as to who this is yet but it should be expected soon as it too is headed to the US as you read this.
Additional searching through shipping data has yielded results confirming a 6″ Black Series Purge/Inquisitor Trooper from Jedi: Fallen Order is currently en route to the U.S as well. No word on potential exclusivity of this figure but once I find out more, I’ll provide an update.
Fed the Google machine today as was able to turn up manifest info showing that wave 2 of the Vintage Collection E9 launch is currently en route to the US. This wave consists of the Jawa x2, Sith Trooper* x2, Knight of Ren x1, Shadow Trooper x2 and Princess Leia (Yavin Ceremony) x1.
*Note: This is not the Sith Jet Trooper from wave 1
Victoria and I sat down last week and reflected on one of Hasbro’s greatest looking lines, the 2004-2005 Original Trilogy Collection. Join us on this episode of Cantina Chatter as we discuss our favorite figures and memories from this line.
Hasbro has made great strides in the quality of the action figure likenesses with the advent of photoreal. This comparison of the first Rey Black Series figure to the new one for The Rise of Skywalker is proof of it. What a difference four years can make!
Thanks to @joshcuadra and @troyzeeeee for the image.
