Yakfinities #83 Roundup Report

The most recent Yakfinities Customizing Challenge has just wrapped up! We had over 100 custom submissions in our forums, which is staggering; especially considering the lull since the last time we ran one of these.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and special thanks to www.outerrimtraders.com who helped sponsored this round (if you customize at all, be sure to head on over there and place an order for a custom head or something – great stuff over there).

Anyways, head on over to the forums and see who is walking away with a gift certificate to our sponsor, and also who the TVC prize winners are!

Yakfinities #83 Heats Up

The above Damano Deomaley custom figure by forum member Darth Daddy (aka Customs for the Kid) may never be made by Hasbro.

In anticipation of the Haslab Cantina, Yakface Forum members have been creating some amazing custom figures in our current Customizing Challenge with over 50 submissions thus far. Check out the latest entries and submit your own by clicking here.

As always, fan fiction entries are encouraged… your creation does not have to be of a character that was shown on screen. Custom entries may be submitted through July 31, but remember they need to be of a new custom you made… and if you are in need of some parts for your entry, head on over to this Yakfinities sponsor, Outer Rim Traders and check out their offerings. They have some great stuff at very reasonable prices… below are just a few examples!

Yakfinities Continues

Be sure to check them out too for some customizing supplies – they have many items that work out great for the current customizing theme.

Customizer Spotlight: Fuchs ArtWerks

Yakface site reader and friend Fuchs Artwerks recently shared with me some pics of his custom 1:18 Great Mothers. These are great customs that hopefully Hasbro realizes into figure form for The Vintage Collection.

Give him a follow on his FB account Fuchs Artwerks, and check out the other great pics here shared of these amazing customs!

Boba Fett Inspired Mini Skull – Available Now!

Regal Robot is proud to present our 4.75″ tall sculptural table top decor piece inspired by the the prototype armor for Boba Fett™. Prior to the release of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™, the intricate costume for Boba Fett underwent a number of changes in color and design. One of the most famous looks included a skull shape reminiscent of a bird skull on his left shoulder armor. Adorning the head of the skull is an “F”-like symbol that ultimately appeared on the character’s chest armor as part of the Mandalorian Crest decoration.
