Target has started clearancing select 6″ Black Series exclusive figures again. I found the Bespin Escape Princess Leia for $13.98 this morning and there are multiple reports from collectors finding the once high-in-demand Gamorrean Guard for 50% off.

Soon, Mattel will be releasing a Commemorative Series of Star Wars Hot Wheels vehicles to celebrate the 9 film Star Wars saga. These special vehicles will have a raw (ZAMAC-like) finish and as a special bonus, will each include a part to build a Death Star. You can see in our Master List the 9 vehicles being released. The first case mix can be preordered now through Entertainment Earth.

Here is an update to a tweet I sent out a couple weeks ago regarding the continuation of Hasbro’s Mighty Muggs line. Hasbro has released official images for 4 new characters that include BB-8, Porg, First Order Stormtrooper and Supreme Leader Snoke. There are errors and then there are errors. This one may be one of the best ones so far in terms of its uniqueness. Collector William M. from the We Backed the Barge Facebook group posted this amazing sample featuring the exclusive Yak Face affixed to the card, bubble and all, upside down. Congrats, that’s a keeper!

Personal Note: I’m reading from various buyers that the Ithorian corpse is not removable… that’s kind of a letdown. But overall most of what I’m reading is extremely positive, outside of some not-so-great experiences with boxes arriving damaged. I can’t wait to finally receive mine and get it all set up and hope we see several more offerings on par with this in the Star Wars 3.75″ line.

Disney has officially announced that Galaxy’s Edge will be opening on May 31 in Disneyland and on August 29 at Walt Disney World.
The first barge orders have started to arrive to collectors. Frank L. posted a few shots on Facebook but one of note has already sparked some discussion. There is no styrofoam corners in inside the box to prevent the Barge’s gorgeous box from damage. I suspect a few horror stories will be shared as a result of this.
