Kotobukiya Kylo Ren ARTFX+ Statue

Kotobukiya has revealed Kylo Ren, their latest ARTFX+ statue, from The Force Awakens.

The shrouded Kylo Ren accompanies the First Order in their quest to control the galaxy. As he aids this campaign new information surfaces about the whereabouts of a Jedi Master that will lead him on a direct course to face his past. Display Kylo Ren with his hood up or down in 8 unique poses with the included action parts.

ARTFX+ Statues are fun-to-assemble pre-painted snap-fit kits that can be put together easily in seconds without glue or modeling skill. Kylo Ren is perfectly scaled (1/10) to the figures in the ARTFX+ line and comes with magnets in his feet for extra stability on the included metal display base. Control Sphero BB-8 Via New Wearable Tech

Gizmodo has posted an article regarding the development of a new wearable piece of tech from Sphero to control their popular BB-8. The wrist-worn device uses simple hand gestures to control the rolling droid rather than relying on an app on a smartphone. It will be available later this year as standalone purchase or bundled with BB-8. Also stated in their article is Sphero’s plan to release a weathered/battle-damaged version of the droid as well.

Beware of Fused Joints on 3.75″ Black Series Finn

While it was a nice surprise finding Wal-Marts latest wave of 3.75″ Black Series today, the excitement quickly turned to aggravation once opening Finn… I picked up two of this figure, and both had fused right elbow joints.

The first one snapped immediately – the second one I was able to save only through my experience with customizing.  Hopefully this doesn’t turn out to be a widespread issue… but please share your experiences after the jump!
