Wookiee(Weekend)Leaks?
Jedi Temple Archives is back to leaking this week, this time, giving up the slogan for Disney and Lucasfilm’s “Wookiee Weekend” – the marketing launch for next year’s as-of-yet untitled Han Solo standalone film.
That’s one way to go I guess.
RICC Exclusive Star Wars Concept Tin Wind-Ups
Rhode Island Comic Con has announced via their Facebook page that they will be offering 3 exclusive classic tin wind-up toys from the Schylling Toys: Concept Boba Fett, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper. Convention admission is required to pre-order and attendees can pick up their purchase at the onsite Show Store the weekend of the show (November 10-12). Walmart.com has announced their participation in the Force Friday II launch with their Be Jedi Ready campaign. Select Walmart Stores will host a Force Friday Weekend Event with Games and Activities including:

- Find the Force Augmented Reality Experience
- FREE give-a-ways including Trading Discs, Posters and Stickers while supplies last

Just announced via Twitter, Mark Hamill is retiring from the autograph convention circuit (in the U.S.) and this year’s New York Comic Con will be the last place you’ll be able to get it!
UPDATE: Apparently, the NYCC Twitter feed was a bit “off the mark”, here is Mark’s official clarification:

Celebration Exclusive 6″ X-wing Luke Purchasing Procedures
The official Star Wars Celebration site has posted their procedures for purchasing the exclusive 40th Anniversary Collection 6″ Luke Skywalker (X-wing Pilot) figure for Thursday and Friday.
In short, tickets will be given out starting at 6:00am to people in special early morning queues. Only those with tickets will be able to purchase the figure on those two days. Saturday and Sunday, Hasbro’s booth is open to shopping without a ticket.
