Gentle Giant has revealed one of their exclusives for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and it is none other than an Admiral Ackbar mini bust – based upon the artwork created by Steven Daily. This “Magnitude” bust, arrives in a wooden box with a lithograph print from Acme Archives and is limited to 500 pieces.

Andrew’s Toyz has posted on their Facebook page a fantastic redesign of the poorly executed Black Series card design. As you can see, a simple tweak of the existing elements can make for such a tighter look.
Action Figure Xpress has announced an exclusive Jumbo Kenner Special Action Figure Set recreating the original “Droid Set” 3 pack from the vintage Kenner line. This set includes R5-D4, Death Star Droid and the Power Droid. It is available now for pre-order for $199.99 and is scheduled for shipment in September. Limited to 500 pieces.

Our friends at YodasNews have posted a few carded images from the first wave of The Black Series 3-3/4″ figures to their facebook page. In my opinion the packaging, specifically the lack of any insert in the bubble, is a bit stark. What do you think? Leave a comment here or in our forums.
