Hasbro Pulse has opened orders/preorders for the convention exclusive Vintage Collection Krrsantan from The Book of Boba Fett – featuring a unique headsculpt, more weapons, accessories and special packaging. Priced at $39.99, there should be limited quantities in stock and then switch over to preorder status.
The convention exclusive TVC Krrsantan has started to arrive on collectors’ doorstep thanks to speedy order fulfillment from Hasbro Pulse. Reminder that this opens up for preorder to the general public tomorrow at 12pm ET exclusively at Hasbro Pulse.
According to Hasbro, the upcoming Vintage Collection Pre Vizsla from The Clone Wars will NOT include the jetpack flame accessories shown in one of their widely released solicitation images*. The flames were even shown on the figure displayed at SDCC, but the claim is that they were merely to show that the jetpack is compatible with existing flame accessories.
*The image above as been removed from various Hasbro Pulse pages but still exists on other vendor sites. This will undoubtedly cause some confusion for some collectors when they receive their figures.
Thanks to friend John Miko for the info regarding the change.
Shipping notifications are started to hit inboxes of those who ordered (with the special one-time use code) the SDCC/Convention Exclusive Vintage Collection Krrsantan from The Book of Boba Fett. No word yet on when preorders will open for general purchase.
Update: This set will be available for order/preorder on this Friday, July 28 at 12pm ET on Hasbro Pulse
FUNDED! The HasLab Vintage Collection The Ghost & Phantom II with Hera Syndulla has met its backing goal of 8,000 and will go into production on Sept 7. Now this is where the fun begins as there are 3 tiers to unlock, the first being the exclusive carded Ezra Bridger at 11,000 backers.
The VC 262 “Andor” head fits great on VC 130 Cassian (also released in TBS), no customizing necessary.
During the Hasbro Star Wars panel and follow up discussions, it was revealed that Hasbro plans for several “repacks/retools” in TVC, including the TBS/TVC Rogue One Cassian Andor figure again (but with the added touch of photo real deco).
Personal Note: If Hasbro has the need to put this figure out again, it may be better suited for a 3pk, and they can invest in new tooling in the other figures in the set, such as Baze Malbus and Ruescott Melshi. Or, are you happy with just swapping a VC262 Cassian head onto the older figure and would rather Hasbro avoid this figure altogether? What say you?
Next week, a more controversial repack topic… TFA Finn.
It’s Halloween in July! Disney Parks have started to receive this year’s Halloween-themed 3.75″ Droidfactory figure, C1-MNST4 (“Monsta”) which is based on the Disney Droidfactory C1-10P “Chopper” mold.
