We’ve seen and received various reports that the newest wave of Black Series figures has starting to hit Target store around the U.S.. Might be worth a look now that the holiday season has settled and stores are resetting aisles for Spring.

For this week’s Gift the Galaxy reveal, Hasbro has announced the Black Series Jedi Master Kelnacca from The Acolyte. Preorders open tomorrow ($33.99) at 1pm ET. Additional images at Collider.com
Entertainment Earth has updated their Drop Zone teasing an “Out of this world” deluxe item for preorder on December 4. Based on the current “Gift the Galaxy” promo schedule and it’s proximity to the release of Skeleton Crew on Disney+ could this be the new droid SM-33 or the pipelined Kelnacca for the Black Series? Or maybe it’s actually a Vintage Collection figure like the pipelined Momaw Nadon?

A preview of the sculpt for the upcoming Black Series Kelnacca from The Acolyte has surface on Instagram. As you may recall this figure was pipelined a few months ago at SDCC. It looks to reuse some parts from TBS Krrsantan but other parts are obviously new which may point to an updated TBS Chewbacca down the line.

Recent shipping info shows that TBS Wave 2025 Wave 1 (case assortments and full cases of individual figures) is now arriving in the U.S. This wave is scheduled for release Feb 2025 so it will likely be much sooner.

Despite The Acolyte being cancelled in terms of getting a second season, let’s hope that we still get one of the best parts of the series by releasing the The Stranger figures in The Black Series, Vintage Collection and Retro Collection scales.
Now before the pitchforks come out and the disparaging comments get underway, I will simply say there were aspects of the show I personally really liked and aspects I really disliked. The same was true for the other Disney Plus series, the Sequels, the Prequels and even the Original Trilogy and the things I liked/disliked evolved over time.
