PROS: Hasbro delivers yet another all-new Kit Fisto for the Clone Wars line. The sculpt overall is fantastic with a lot of detail worked into the leg wraps and head. The additional removable accessories are a nice surprise considering this is supposedly a “kid-focused” line. Fits into the most recent Jedi Starfighter cockpit (sold separately).
CONS: Because of the design of the head, the neck joint has a very limited (to the point of non-existent) range of motion. Small accessories, especially the goggles, all but guarantee being lost within the first few hours of play so having them sculpted to the figure might have worked better in the long term.

With Hasbro phasing out the Galactic Heroes line, it was only a matter of time before the AT-AT would begin to get marked down or find their way to discount stores… they have now been found at TJ Maxx stores for the great price of $19.99. So if you’ve been considering picking one up, and have one of these stores in your area, this might be a good time to make an extra stop on your next toy run.
We received word from our friend Chris “HothIcePlanet” that Target is planning to facilitate the restocking of their Vintage Collection by purging select figures, mostly from waves 1 and 2, from their pegs. Hopefully this will clear the distribution log jam and get new product to the pegs.
First there were the rumors. Then we had the announcement. Details trickled out for months. Now they’re here–The Star Wars Blu Rays. Met with responses from “Noooooo” to “Who Cares?” to unbridled dancing around like an Ewok, this series is both the first high-definition release of the Star Wars films as well as another iteration of Lucasfilm’s tinkering.
On this week’s Star Wars Action News podcast, Marjorie and Arnie break down the release, from Wal-Mart midnight releases met with mixed success to Target’s limited lithographs, they run down the first-day buy, review the Blu Ray set, and discuss the overall importance of this release both to Star Wars as well as home media entertainment worldwide. All on this week’s Star Wars Action Blu’s!
