Reports are that from approximately 2:15-2:25pm the Celebration Exclusive Luke Skywalker (X-wing Pilot) available on HasbroToyShop.com. While not completely out of the question, I would think that was the last of them to be had at retail price.
Congrats to any and all who were able to secure one or two.
Last night I decided to open up the vintage box for Gentle Giant’s Convention Exclusive Jumbo Kenner Dianoga Trash Monster to check out the carded creature inside. Unfortunately, Gentle Giant misspelled the Dianoga’s name on the cardback as “Dianogo”. Bummer.
Despite assurances that the 6″ 40th Anniversary figures would be pre-punched for retail sales, it seems like there is at least one figure that this claim didn’t necessarily apply. There are samples for the Star Wars Celebration exclusive Luke Skywalker: X-Wing Pilot figure that made it into hands of collectors with the punch intact. While this isn’t anything to covet for majority of collectors, there is a segment of the community that this will surely interest.
Thanks to trashtone for the info and for his aid in acquiring this sample.

There is an interesting image floating about showing that GameStop is taking preorders for an as-of-yet unannounced 6″ Black Series Battlefront II TIE Fighter Pilot for $22.99. More as it develops….
