Shipments for the upcoming 6″ Black Series Darth Nihilus Gaming Greats figure have started arriving in warehouses in Canada for release next month as well as cases of the upcoming Black Series “Bobby” (IG-11) figure for the yet-to-be-announced Credit Collection. I imagine the latter will be revealed next week at Hasbro Pulse Con.

Instagram follower @clone_cooper_customs has provided us the first in-hand look at the upcoming 6″ Black Series Incinerator Trooper from The Mandalorian. As you can see, it closely matches the trooper’s design from the series and includes a nice flame effect tucked back behind the figure’s left arm.
Update: this release also confirms that the Incinerator Trooper is (03) in the series followed by The Armorer (04) as shown in the circled area on the back of the box.
Popped into my local Walgreens with UPC in-hand to find out the status of the upcoming 6” Black Series Phase I Clone Trooper Lieutenant – I was given an in-store ETA of 9/18 – and the WIC: 831041.
Back in June, there was word that a deluxe “build up” pack was headed to the Black Series line for The Mandalorian. Later that month, additional info came to light which was thought to clarify that listing as being for the Vintage Collection. I received a new UPC over the weekend to research and found this morning that it is listed at Target as “STAR WARS MANDO BUILD UP PACK” and confirms the original report of it being for The Black Series. The price on this set is $34.99 and the DPCI is shown above in the image. So, it appears that we are in fact getting TWO Mandalorian build up packs – one for TBS and one for TVC.
Obviously, no official word on availability, but since it’s not showing in various other systems in the U.S., it may be a Target Exclusive.
Several new 6″ Black Series code names have been revealed via the Walmart app. These names continue the trend of U.S. states and cities being used to mask the identities of the characters themselves. These figures should be released well into 2021 and as of now it is unknown any or all are exclusive.
It appears that the second reissue wave of Vintage Collection will hit big box stores in the U.S. after all as Twitter follower James M. reports finding them at Target in Brea, CA today.
Thanks to an assist from St. Louis area collector Jimmy S., I was able to secure a set of the latest TVC wave this morning through a local collector shop source. Head on over to the forums for a closer look.
