Walmart Finds Continue…

Your mileage may vary, but if you’re looking for some of Hasbro’s better offerings in a while in the 3.75″ scale, be sure to keep checking your Walmart toy Star Wars sections!

With the Christmas season almost here, stores will likely be expanding endcaps and aisle displays to try and squeeze out as many dollars from collectors and parents over the coming two months… so figures you have been waiting to find just might start popping up finally.

Star Wars Toybox Rey Scale Comparison

I managed to swing by my local Disney Store over the lunch hour to pick up the first wave of New Star Wars Toybox figures that includes Rey, Kylo Ren and First Order Stormtrooper. First off, the figures are much larger than I realized as you can see in the scale comparison image above. The figures boast 14 joints which, for Rey, breaks down as follows: Ball-socket neck, insert-molded/ball-jointed shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles and a swivel waist. That’s 26 total points of articulation!

Look for a full Toyguide entry for Rey and the other figures soon.

Huge Customs Update

When Hasbro starves the market for good 3.75″ figures, what’s a collector to do?  Customize!

Over the past few months, I’ve completed many more customs than I expected, by digging through my fodder bins and cobbling new figures together (it’s truly amazing how much variety and greatness the 3.75″ line used to offer).

Head on over to the forums to check out full sized pics of 15 new custom figures by yours truly from a galaxy far, far away…
