As The Force Awakens draws closer we get new information, new trailers, and…new toys!  With the Guavian Enforcer, Captain Phasma, Constable Zuvio and Poe Dameron the second wave of 6-inch Black Series figures is hitting stores now. On this episode of Star Wars Action News Marjorie and Arnie review this new wave of figures–and try to guess how they fit into the new movie.  And they also review the new KMart exclusive Kylo Ren – Starkiller Base Black Series figure.
Also on this week’s show, with tomorrow’s release of Battlefront the game, Brock joins us to look at the Star Wars: Battlefront novel Twilight Company. He also reviews the new audiobook adaptations for the young readers’ adaptations of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.

But for collecting it may be easier to list the items that don’t have Star Wars tie-ins instead of those that do. Soup, bottled water, apples, coffee creamer, El Paso Tacos!  On this week’s show the hosts sift through the plethora of items and tell you which are the cool ones to hunt for.

The 2015 San Diego Comic-Con is gone, but not forgotten.  In addition to the exclusive First Order Stormtrooper selling out faster than you can say “Blast it!”, the images of giant TIE Fighters, working R2-D2 robots, and McQuarrie art based statues still dance in our heads.
Last week you had a floor tour of the major booths at the con.  Now join Marjorie and Arnie this week as they recap San Diego Comic-Con, including the companies with the best showings and the coolest items coming soon.  They are also joined by resident Hot Toys expert Andrew to discuss that TIE Fighter and that even bigger Millennium Falcon, and Berent recounts his experience getting into the Star Wars panel at Hall H!
Also on this week’s show, Steve “The Gingerprince” reports in from a convention on the other side of the pond:  London Film and Comic Con.  He recounts his celebrity meetings and rare purchases at the con.

Star Wars Rebels was back last week with the Siege of Lothal and this week, we finally get details on the Season 1 Blu-ray and DVD release. Despite persistent server problems, The Realm Recap is back with the highlights in collecting and Star Wars news from the past week. Hasbro has officially taken the wraps off of this year’s SDCC exclusive and while it didn’t surprise, it did impress. Disney also confirmed the addition of Star Wars Rebels figures and characters for their new Disney Infinity 3.0 system. On this week’s show Flyguy and I discuss the latest collecting news including not one but two waves of TBS 6” figures hitting retail, new details on the TRU/SDCC exclusive Jabba’s Rancor set and a new source in the US for those “cancelled” Legacy Collection figures. New LEGO news leaked this week regarding several sets tied to The Force Awakens and it looks like we’ll be getting gray bricks as far as the eye can see. Disney announced additional info for the next Disney Infinity expansion which focuses heavily on the Original Trilogy and its characters.
