The new Supreme Leader Kylo Ren “Force Rage” Mask has been found on shelf at Target in San Jose, CA. The mask apparently lights up along the fused cracks when you yell through it. for Hasbro sure knows thgeir market with all this “raging” and “screaming” incorporated into their toys.
This will be available on Triple Force Friday. Thanks to spikeymikey218 for the image.
After searching through a couple thousand listings last night, I managed to locate info for two more basic role play masks (not helmets) for The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian. Both are no-brainer releases of course but hopefully we see something a bit more upscale in the not too distant future. The UPCs and Walmart SKUs have been added to our Master List page.
The digging continues today and has yielded info for what is described as a “SW RP Scream Saber“. This may be the super-secret lightsaber that was shown off at Star Wars Celebration Chicago last month. As a bit of a bonus, additional sleuthing turned up an IMDb profile for an actress (Aymee Michel) who posed as a packaging model for a product called the “Hasbro Scream Saber”.
Relevant UPC info has been added to the role play section of the Master List.
Finally, I managed to find several listings for 12″ Hero Series figures as well as role play items, when cross referenced with each other, they may confirm that Kylo Ren’s LFL product code name is “Olso”.
12″ Hero Series E9 “Bruges Red”
E9 “Oslo”
E9 Darth Vader
Role Play
E9 “Oslo” Mask (Kylo Ren?)
E9 Stormtrooper Mask
E9 Darth Vader
The relevant UPCs and Walmart SKUs have been added to our Master List for your reference.
Over the holiday weekend, a member of a local MN toy group (MN Toy Posse on Facebook) found the new Black Series Darth Vader Helmet marked down to $75 at Walmart. If you are checking in your area for similar sales use UPC 630509607358 via Brickseek
There was a lot to take in over the weekend with the new product announcements and initiatives from Hasbro at Toy Fair 2018. For an overview of the products revealed, click on through to checkout press release images for Force Link, Black Series and Vintage Collection products.
Thanks to Cargo Hold co-host Chris K. for the links.
Hasbro has just revealed an upcoming augmented reality Iron Man role play helmet coming to support Avengers: Infinity War. Look for something similar to support the Star Wars line to be officially announced at Toy Fair (or sooner).
Looks like there will be more opportunities for kids to roleplay along with their favorite Forces of Destiny characters. I found a listing for a new “Force Crystal Lightsaber” via a foreign retailer. I’d expect it to start hitting retail sometime in the first quarter of 2018.
After some mindless SKU searching via Brickseek this evening, I managed to find a few Hasbro role-play masks listed for Solo: A Star Wars Story. Like others, the product/characters are obscured with mythological code names. The above listings have been added to the Master List we’re continuing to compile.
Update: According to Amazon, “Hercules” is Chewbacca, “Vesta Guard” is a Range Trooper and the “Vesta Trooper” is a Stormtrooper
Update 2: Click on through for product descriptions of each mask
