StarWars-Figuren has posted card back images of the 3 Walmart exclusive figures coming later this year. Reports are coming in that the newest repack/reissue wave of TVC figures has started to hit Walmarts across the U.S. For long time collectors these sculpts are probably in your collections already, but the human figures have been updated with Hasbro’s PhotoReal process and the card backs are different than previously released.
As mentioned on Hasbro’s last Fan First Friday, they’ve gone back and tweaked the cardback for the upcoming TVC Boba Fett (ROTJ) figure to more closely match the original Kenner release. The accent color has been adjusted to yellow and the reference photo has been zoom out for a “better” look at the character. The first orange version (left above) will be available initially then replaced as a running change.
