Walmart stores are starting to rollback prices on both TVC and TBS figures – hopefully this means they are trying to make room for newer product. Perhaps we might even see further reductions over the next month or two if this first round of rollbacks doesn’t help clear some significant peg space.

The Villainous Darth Vader Lunch Box and More @ Target
While at Target yesterday, I noticed some new Star Wars nostalgia items for $11.99. If you’re into these type of collectibles, look for endcaps in the Target toy section for these.
Personal Note: While I didn’t pick these up and normally don’t buy oddball items such as these, I am already thinking I made a mistake by passing on them. That lunch box is especially cool.
TVC TIE Fighter Barrage
Those one or two TVC TIE Fighters you’ve been seeing on the shelf at your local Walmart may be turning into an entire fleet soon, as St. Louis area Walmarts have been suddenly receiving mass quantities of this ship. Let us know if you’re seeing the same thing.
Personal Note: $79 is just too high of a price for this ship… would be surprised if these aren’t on rollback / clearance before too long.
Major Star Wars Markdowns @ Best Buy
If you have a Best Buy in your area, if may be worth your time to swing by and check out their toy/collector section. Quite a few various Star Wars items have been marked down (as well as other brands, such as Marvel). Good luck and as always your mileage may vary.
New 6″ Black Series Hitting St. Louis
As reported last week, the latest 6″ wave of TBS figures is hitting Target stores. In a rare stroke of good luck, I stumbled upon them in the St. Louis area as well this morning. Share your store reports here or in the forums after the jump!
Personal Note: The Mimban Han Solo is really one of the best looking figures I’ve seen Hasbro make in any scale – fingers crossed that it’s not too long before we see a TVC counterpart of such quality that is readily available to the market…
6″ Mimban Stormtroopers Still Arriving
There have been reports of Walmart stores receiving more shipments of the 6″ Mimban Stormtrooper recently, and this morning I saw the same thing.
If you’re looking to add to your ranks, it might worth your time to stop by your local Walmart to see if they have received new shipments (or are receiving for the first time). Happy hunting!
Walmart Clearances
If you’ve been at your local Walmart lately, you may have noticed that the toy aisles are resetting, clearing out the old, and making room for the new.
Among the clearance items you will likely find are products from Solo: A Star Wars Story, and you might want to scan them because the marked clearance price may not reflect the full markdown.

Five Below Continues to Restock TBS 6″ Figures
I went by my local Five Below yesterday to see how many TBS figures were left after Christmas… and it was a lot. After being down to just stacks of Jyn, Cassian, and Krennic, they had restocked the pegs yet again to the max with more figures.
Any guesses as to what other 6″ waves they might be getting in after the Baze / Chirrut wave? Or will it be isolated to just this one wave getting dumped there? Share your thoughts after the jump!
Force Link Toys on Clearance at Target
Target stores are putting Force Link items on clearance now that the Christmas rush is over. Chances are these will be marked down lower in the coming weeks.
Personal Note: My local store only had the single figures marked on clearance, and the 2-pks with “The Last Jedi” label marked down. The “Solo” 2-pks were still scanning at full price. I didn’t bother to scan anything else.
Final Rant of 2018
Last evening, I stopped by my local Walmart and naturally went into the toy section. The Star Wars scene at this store is essentially the same at every Walmart and Target in my area.
I love this hobby, but am so frustrated by the current direction of the merchandising. Almost every time I see people for the past year looking at Star Wars stuff, it ends the same way… with the potential buyer shaking their head and walking away.
So I decided to post a new rant in the forums and threw out some ideas on how Hasbro/Disney could potentially start making Star Wars toys that their retail partners can have more confidence in selling to the public again.
