Hasbro also took the wraps off of a few new Vintage Collection figures (and some repacks too). New figures include confirmation of our rumored Luke Skywalker (Crait) from The Last Jedi plus the Imperial Assault Tank Commander from Rogue One. Vintage repacks include Hoth Leia, Echo Base Han Solo, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight) and Boba Fett – those 5 will be available via specialty shops.

Walmart Planogram Updates Include Vintage Collection
Walmart has finally updated their planogram/aisle reset plans to include the much-neglected Vintage Collection. As you’ve read here and elsewhere, TVC has been relegated to wherever employees stick them as there was no official peg location for them, thus finding them in clearance sections and other unrelated areas of the store.

A Better TVC Outlook?
It’s still early in the return of TVC, but it appears as though we really could start seeing a resurgance with this line now that Walmart stores are starting to get in both Wave 2 and Wave 3 of TVC this month… but keep in mind, Target shoppers might be in for a dry spell with all the Wave 1 pegwarmers they are sitting on (thanks to the bad decision to repack so many figures in the first wave).
On any note, good luck on those toy runs and hopefully the disparaging times many 3.75″ collectors have been feeling for the past few years will soon be a thing of the past.
