Upon my travels this weekend hunting for the latest Vintage and Clone Wars goodies, I managed to stumble across a handy little carrying case over in the LEGO aisle at Walmart. The LEGO ZipBin TIE Fighter Storage Case holds approximately 500 LEGO bricks and doubles as a playmat when unzipped and opened and retails for about $10.
Upon my travels this morning, I managed to scored some of the figures from the newest Clone Wars wave at Walmart. I missed out on Savage Opress but did pick up Chewbacca, Even Piell, Jar Jar Binks, R7-D4 and the new, and much-improved, Captain Rex.
Haven’t had your fill of Clone Wars products yet? You’re in luck then as Sandtroopers.com has posted image of the upcoming Walmart Exclusive Ultimate Gift Set that was revealed at SDCC a few weeks back. This set includes Space Suit Anakin, Count Dooku, Super Battle Droid, Battle Droid and Captain Rex. Look for this to hit store shelves around October. Sandtroopers also comes through with an image of the packaging for the ultra-cool Mandalorion Assault Transport Head on over for the full reports.
UPDATE: Galactic Binder’s Facebook page is reporting that these 2 new sets were found in the Memphis, TN area (Germantown) a few days ago.
VolkerC over at POTF2.com has posted images of 2 new Walmart Exclusive Deluxe Vehicles w/Figure Sets due later this year. Head on over for a look at the BARC Speeder with Clone Trooper “Buzz” and another repainted AT-RT with ARF Trooper.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have reported that Vintage Collection Wave 6 has hit Wal-Mart in the New Jersey area. For those keeping score, that is 22 figures (not counting packaging variants) in a few short weeks and depending on pricing in your area, that equates to over$200.00!
Sir Steve’s Guide has gotten their hands on a preliminary list of figures that has been discovered in the bowels of the Wal-mart databanks. Head on over for the complete list.
Remember, this is an unofficial list and product release schedules may change or be dropped all together, but this list does look promising.

Some Wal-Marts are now slashing prices significantly on old Legacy product, including their exclusive Comic Packs which have been found in the $5.00 range. Thanks to DarthSinizter for the heads up.
Facebook follower Fernando posted on our wall today that the exclusive Jabba’s Throne w/Oola has crept out onto Walmart shelves in Southern California. Thanks for the report Fernando!
Not only does Walmart.com have some of the new Star Wars item in stock, but they are listing the new Legends figures for $4.50. Could this be good news that Wal-Mart will continue to keep basic figures (outside of vintage) at a great price once these hit stores? We should know pretty soon!
