Following up on our exclusive report of the Target Exclusive Black Series Shoretrooper from Andor and the announcement of additional code names, Usual Mike on YouTube has posted images of the 3 other Black Series exclusives: Cassian Andor (Aldhani Mission), Imperial Officer (Dark Times) and Imperial Officer (Ferrix). We’ve received various reports around the U.S. of the Target exclusive Vintage Collection Boba Fett (Morak) figures hitting stores. The figure is not street dated so if you happen across one, you should be able to get out no problem — if you can look past the “Boba Tax” that is.
Images have now surfaced of the upcoming convention exclusive Black Series ROTJ 40th Anniversary Admiral Ackbar figure – complete with Kenner-insired deco and baton. Look for details on availability outside of the MCM London Comic Con (October 28-November 1) soon.
Doing some additional investigating regarding the Deluxe Black Series figures for the 40th Anniversary for Return of the Jedi, I not only came across the price of $33.99 each (regular ROTJ40 figures are $24.99) but I believe, based on the store code, found a third deluxe item. No word what character it may be yet, but there is a pretty short list of who it may be if it’s a repack. A third deluxe may also indicate a third wave as well.
Doing a bit of research today I believe I have found evidence of a third Black Series Halloween themed figure. No word on the design of the figure itself or its retail home, but the code name and Hasbro SKU does fall in line with the previously announced “Skull Clone Trooper” (Target) and “Were-Wookiee” (Walmart).
Notifications are being received from Entertainment Earth (and likely others) that the Hasbro has informed them of “the discontinued production” of the Black Series Captain Rex (#59) from the black/red packaging.
Here is a first look from an anonymous source at the upcoming Black Series Boba Fett from the 40th Anniversary assortment for Return of the Jedi. I’d imagine the price will be more than some of the others in the line due to the inclusion of all the accessories from the deluxe release (or maybe Hasbro will surprise us).
Update: based on its SKU, it should be an exclusive of some sort, most likely fan channel

Recent shipping data shows that the fan channel exclusive TVC R2-SHW (Antoc Merrick’s Astromech) from Rogue One has started to arrive in the U.S.. Orders should hopefully start filling soon – well before the intial release date of Feb. 2023.
