It was only a matter of time. Since the hilarious Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base skit aired on SNL last weekend, customizers have taken the initiative in creating action figure versions of Kylo Ren as “Matt” the Radar Technician. SlashGear.com has posted an article that features an image we shared via social media last night and have posted another giving “Matt” the Black Series treatment.
If this doesn’t scream convention exclusive or at least cosplay material, we’ve failed as a fandom.

We’ve just wrapped up another great Yakfinities Customizing Challenge – and with over 40 custom entries, there’s a lot of cool stuff to check out (including which forum members won some prizes) in the Roundup Report!
All the attention is around The Force Awakens, but we’d be remiss to not mention that there have been some great new fan-fiction stories being shared in the photonovel section of our forums recently .
Forum member CloneCrazy has recently shared the latest installment in his Will Of The Force series, and Jodo has also posted a new chapter in his Era of Darkness saga.
With great special effects, custom figures, dioramas and creative storytelling, both of these artists continue to up their game – check out their latest efforts and other fan stories in the Yakface Forums after the jump!
While it was a nice surprise finding Wal-Marts latest wave of 3.75″ Black Series today, the excitement quickly turned to aggravation once opening Finn… I picked up two of this figure, and both had fused right elbow joints.
The first one snapped immediately – the second one I was able to save only through my experience with customizing. Hopefully this doesn’t turn out to be a widespread issue… but please share your experiences after the jump!

Last night, Jimmy Kimmel had a special “Force Awakens” themed show featuring the stars of the film and director J.J. Abrams. Check out the custom 6″ Black Series version of Abrams as Han Solo and Jimmy as Princess Leia which incidentally provides a pretty clear look the upcoming 6″ figure – the body and soft goods anyway.
