Rumor Report: Another Mystery Listing on AMAZON

Another mystery listing has shown up on Amazon sites overseas and what is puzzling about this one is that the Australia listing describes it as a Vintage “Cat Toy” item, while the Italian listing has it simply as “Black Series”. Both listings share the same Hasbro SKU number (F2886) and EAN/Barcode. The price for this item is around 60 Euros.

It’s anyone’s guess as to what it may actually be but considering how specific the AU listing is (and how general the IT listing is) I’m putting this in the TVC column.

Thanks to JTPrime for the links.

Rumor Report: New Black Series Mandalorian Season 2 Figure Listing

A new 6″ Black Series figure listing has been found on the Australian and Italian Amazon sites. It is unknown who the character is but Amazon AU lists it as being a character from The Mandalorian Season 2. As we’ve previously reported, this figure also has dual code names for the same Hasbro SKU: “Cheetah” and “Haiku”. Thanks to JTPrime for bringing this to our attention.

Rumor Report: More Preorders Coming Soon?

It’s hard to know what to expect with Hasbro’s upcoming Fan Fest in two weeks, but it looks like there are several preorders coming judging by the 12 listings added to certain vendor’s website. The new listings break evenly between Vintage Collection and Black Series, which is nice, but I believe four of the TVC figures are for the upcoming repack/repaint wave. The two “new” TVC listings feature code names I haven’t seen until now “FOUNTAIN” and “MARKER” – these may line up with the rumored TVC Gaming Greats figures but it’s difficult to know at this point until I find some additional info and with the doubling up of code names now. As for the Black Series figures, these should all be from the next wave and feature Aurra Sing, Tech, Q9-0 and others.

Since we’re still a couple weeks out, details may change so stay tuned.

TVC Code Names: Now There are Two of Them (and that’s bad)

For some time, we’ve been providing code names via our Master List for upcoming product for the Black Series and Vintage Collection products. Recently we’ve noticed that some figures have started to double up on the code names in order to further mask their identities from prying eyes until they are officially announced. TBS has been doing it and now it appears matters are worse and TVC is employing the tactic as well. Read on for my theory that may impact the number of figures coming for TVC in the near future.

PSWCS.org Premiers Their 11th Charity Medallion

PSWCS.org, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society (PSWCS), is excited to announce their 11th charity medallion in support of Veteran’s Miracle Center Erie.

Veteran’s Miracle Center Erie (VMCE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides support to Veterans in Northwestern PA.  VMCE’s first mission is to offer Veterans and active-duty military personnel real solutions that will enhance their lives. They offer clothing, personal care and hygiene products, houseware items, hope and more free of charge. They also partner with other Veteran organizations to provide additional services, support and counseling.

The limited-edition medallion is fully approved by Lucasfilm and has an edition size of 1000 pieces. Each medallion features the likeness of R2-D2 on the front, along with the date and the name of the charity, Veterans Miracle Center Erie. R2-D2, the hero of the Star Wars Saga, represents the veteran heroes VMCE serves and this could not come at a better time as Lucasfilm celebrates its 50th anniversary. The back features the PSWCS logo.

The medallions will be $12.50 each if shipped inside the USA and will be accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and receipt as they are tax deductible. International purchases are welcome, extra shipping charges will apply. Place your order now at pswcs.com/charity.cfm
