As a follow up to our exclusive reporting in January, I managed to find several listings for our rumored list upcoming E9 Galaxy of Adventures products including basic figures, vehicle and the Droid 3pk. It seems like a fitting time to bring this up considering the news from earlier. A quick side-by-side comparison of the new Retro Collection Chewbacca vs. the original Kenner mold shows that the Retro model is noticably smaller in stature than the figure it pays homage. The differences also extend to sculpting of the fur and his iconic Kenner bowcaster.

Sad news to report today as it is just been revealed that Peter Mayhew passed away on April 30.
Rest in Peace, mighty Chewbacca.
Hasbro Pulse will be offering their Star Wars Celebration Exclusive Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul on May 4 at 1pm ET.
Walmart’s exclusive TVC Skiff Guard Lando Calrissian figure is listed as “in stock” as of this post. Good luck to all who place an order and thanks to Bryan Layne for the heads up!
Hasbro has updated their info for the new Retro Collection assortment of figures. They now state (via press release) that Target will have these this month but online/fan channel retailers will offer them in the Fall.
Update 2: These figures are now available for purchase in-store (at those stores that have them anyway) as they have been removed from “register-locked” status.
The Walmart exclusive Jabba’s Palace Adventure Set has fluctuated as “In Stock” and “Out of Stock” this evening online.., I personally placed an order, and my email states that I will receive it on May 18.
If you are able to place an order, let us know! And hopefully orders won’t be cancelled like some of the TVC Skiff Guard Lando Calrissian orders were.

In what may be the most rock bottom price report yet, Twitter follower @NoOneisChris reports finding the Vintage Collection TIE Fighter for a mere $10 at Walmart in Ohio (Eastlake).
The St. Louis ToyMan Show returns this Sunday, May 5.
