As a follow to our report earlier this month, sponsor Entertainment Earth is now taking preorders for the Epic Hero Series N-1 Starfighter with The Mandalorian & Grogu.
Sponsor Entertainment Earth has begun processing preorders for Vintage Collection Wave 17 case assortments. Check your order status for movement on your orders.
New images can only mean one thing… preorders (someday). Hasbro has released two new images for the upcoming fan channel exclusive Black Series Ki-Adi-Mundi figure from Attack of the Clones. Still no official word on when preorders are going to drop, but if you can’t wait, Canadian retailer ToySnowman has it for preorder.
Despite Hasbro not conveying any date/time, the two Target exclusive Black Series products announced yesterday are now available for preorder.
Mandarlorian Privateer – $24.99
R5-D4, BD-72 & Pit Droids -$44.99
Sponsor Entertainment Earth has added the preorder for the reissue of the Black Series Imperial Shock Trooper Helmet from Battlefront II.
Hasbro has revealed the previously pipelined Black Series R5-D4, BD-72 and Pit Droids 4pk. from The Mandalorian. The set reissues/repaints the BD and pit droids we’ve received before and R5-D4 looks to be the same as the recent release but now with new rocket booster accessories. MSRP states $49.99, but Target’s system currently lists it as $44.99.

Hasbro is planning to offer (what I assume is) another kid targeted, inexpensive line called “Hydro Pods“. There is not a lot to go on at this point but features Aqua Armor figure assortments, vehicles/accessories like the X-wing and TIE Fighter, mystery figures and more. In a way, this sounds like the previous “Fighter Pods/Micro Force” line. Star Wars isn’t the only brand playing in the Hydro Pod pool, Marvel and Transformers will also have similar items in their sections.
Will this be another one of those stop-gap lines like the aforementioned Fighter Pods or Battle Bobblers? I guess we’ll officially hear about whatever Hydro Pods are soon as products are already arriving in the U.S.
The Target DPCIs for both TVC assortments (E7763 and F6878) are both now at $0.00. There currently is no general DPCI for the Vintage Collection in their system and no allotted pegs for them in their most recent aisle update. It is unknown if this is a temporary hiatus or “resting” of the line at Target.
