Instagram user sw_up_wir20 has posted the first look at a couple of D23 exclusive Vinylmation figures scheduled for release this July at the event. The Star Tours themed figures include the Imperial Sky Trooper packed in a 9:10 ratio, with a chase RX-24 packed 1:10. The figure retail for $16.95 and are limited to 2500 pieces (total).
Reports are coming in (and being posted on various Facebook collector groups) that Wave 2 of the 40th Anniversary Collection is starting to hit Toys”R”Us across the US. Time to start popping into your local store if you’ve taken it out of your regular toy runs.

StarWars.com today has announced a new five-part comic miniseries titled Star Wars: Jedi of the Republic – Mace Windu which picks up after the start of the Clone Wars as the Jedi Order faces possibly its greatest challenge yet. Pricing has dropped down to $11-$12 at times, then back up to $18-$20 per figure. If you’re in the market for these figures, it may be worth keeping an eye on these prices and grab whatever you are needing when the price feels reasonable to you… and remember, down the road, $20 or so could be considered very reasonable for these figures on the after-market, so don’t wait too long to secure your figures there or through one of our sponsors.

Funko has closed out May’s Smuggler’s Bounty box and right on cue, they’ve announced the follow-up for July: Droids! The deadline for this theme ends July 15 but in the meantime, let the speculation begin for what will be included in this release.
