Toy Fair Coverage Update
Due to the pending blizzard’s unpredictable effects on my connecting flights (inbound and outgoing) on Friday and Sunday, I have elected to cancel my trip to NY for Toy Fair. That doesn’t mean we will not be covering the weekend’s event! We will be sharing news here, Facebook, Twitter, and in our forums from our great affiliates that are still attending.

Clone Wars Season Finale Trailer
As Season 5 of The Clone Wars draws to a close, the action and emotion of the series has never been better. Now it looks like the Jedi will have to face off against one of their own while dealing with being shut out of military decisions that will have irrevocable effects on the future of the Republic. Check out this trailer for the 4-part story arc that leads to this season’s finale.
Fighter Pods Rampage Game Packs Hitting
Target has started placing new Series 4 Fighter Pods products this week and in addition to the single packs, 7 packs and the Exclusive Tin, they have also placed the 2 new “Rampage” Battle Game packs. The Hailfire Droid Pack includes a Droideka*, Super Battle Droid*, Captain Typho and Galactic Marine and the Republic Gunship Pack includes Mace Windu*, Kit Fisto*, Han Solo (Hoth Gear) and a Royal Guard (Crimson Empire). Each set retails for $19.99.

Class II Vehicles at Toys”R”us
The 2013 shrunken down “mid-sized” vehicles have begun to show up at Toys”R”us stores and I came across them today in the St. Louis area. They are priced at $21.99.
Not a bad price, but personally it’s hard to get excited by smaller versions of vehicles that we already have… I’d like for Hasbro to realize that much of the problem with the 2012 mid-sized vehicle failure wasn’t the price, it was that everyone already had the vehicles they were trying to push… but enough of the rant, good luck on those toy runs if you’re looking for these!
