Our friends at ClubJade.net give us the heads-up that some of the more action-heavy, “adult” oriented episodes and story arcs from The Clone Wars will be returning to Cartoon Network via their Toonami programing schedule starting Saturday, August 17. If all goes as planned, they hope to release these episodes in their uncut and original 2.35:1 aspect ratio airings.
Sideshow Collectibles is now taking pre-orders for their Sixth Scale General Grievous figure. If you order the Exclusive Version, included is an alternate battle-damaged mask.

It was the biggest Star Wars party of the year–STAR WARS CELEBRATION EUROPE 2! Six years after CE1 Celebration returned to Europe with a slew of celebrities, exclusives, and guests. With Episode VII announced anticipation couldn’t have been higher, and Star Wars Action News was there. Hosts Marjorie and Arnie made their first Celebration Eurotrip to take part in the Collecting Track and report on the events. For those hoping to be able to construct your own diorama backgrounds for your action figures, we have some great news as the kickstarter campaign has already reached the fundraising goal!
Yakface.com has no official affiliation with this campaign, but we are happy to help promote this getting off the ground for Star Wars fans who have been begging for items like this to be made for years on end. We also know that several of our forum members stepped up to the plate and showed their support with their contributions. Thank you to everyone (especially the Galactic Merchants team) for getting this ball rolling.
We hope that this is just the beginning of a larger world for collectors and kids alike as these dioramas may be part of making this hobby as fun as it once was.
