This year has been tough for collectors with rising prices, order cancellations and the closure of some online retailers. Many of you have been negatively affected by several of our previous sponsors who went out of business this year, some of which were left with orders unfulfilled and more importantly monies unreturned. Our paid promotion and endorsement of those sites was in good faith and what may or may not have transpired between all affected customers and those sites was beyond our knowledge and control. California retailer ToyHideout has posted in-hand images of the recently announced Vintage Collection Endor Bunker, Deluxe Paz Vizsla and the Black Series Scorch Gaming Greats figure. Hopefully we won’t have to wait 4-5 months for these to be filled through preorders.
Walmart has been sending out cancellation notifications for some orders of Black Series Scout Trooper (Holiday Edition) and Wookiee (Halloween Edition) preorders. Fortunately the Scout Trooper has been surfacing in stores for a few weeks. If you’re looking to still get the Wookiee, Entertainment Earth still has them for preorder with an expected delivery date of next month.
The final member of the Republic Commando squad has been announced with the Black Series Gaming Greats RC-1262 “Scorch” figure. Preorders open tomorrow at 1pm ET at exclusively GameStop (in the U.S.).
