So I guess people got Luke for $5 at Target and exchanged the Disney Store Stormtroopers with them. @yak_face pic.twitter.com/U2kanhsIyC

Twitter follower Frisi sends us this report of more “collector” tomfoolery taking place with those clearance Target Exclusive 6” Lukes.
With the return of The Clone Wars next year it would probably be fitting to get a new clone trooper or two into collectors’ hands. You hopefully caught our report back in May of the rumored Clone Commander Bly, now there is comm chatter that there will be another Clone Commander joining the ranks and probably be a fan channel/online exclusive. There are plenty of commanders yet to be made and with the existing tooling coupled with some stellar paint work and new accessories, Hasbro should be able to knock a few out rather easily.
Collectors are starting to receive their wave 21 cases of 6” Black Series figures which includes the Obi-Wan Kenobi (Padawan) figure first offered as a Star Wars Celebration exclusive. Collector Matt Z. noticed upon opening the Obi-Wan that he doesn’t include either of the extra hand accessories from the exclusive, despite Hasbro Pulse website showing the two-figures outstretched hand in one of the loose photos.
You may recall a similar solicitation imagery mix-up with the retail 6” Bespin Han Solo being shown with the pointer figure hand which was only available in last year’s convention exclusive Exogorth Escape Set.
Bummer, I guess that will make the SWCC Version all that more desirable.
Now that Father’s Day has passed, Target has placed the Black Series Luke Skywalker (Death Star Escape) and TVC Han Solo (Stormtrooper) on clearance starting at 50% off. Time to army build those peg warmers.
Update: 50% off sale also includes the Retro Collection assortment.
Update 2: Han Solo and Luke Skywalker are now 70% off
