Not one to leave a repaint oppportunity on the table, some digging today has turned up info for a potential Black Series Axe Woves Electronic Helmet for sometime this year. Pricing should be inline with the current helmet offerings in the $130 range.

TBS Rumor Report: 3 Deluxe Black Series 40th Anniversary Figures?
Doing some additional investigating regarding the Deluxe Black Series figures for the 40th Anniversary for Return of the Jedi, I not only came across the price of $33.99 each (regular ROTJ40 figures are $24.99) but I believe, based on the store code, found a third deluxe item. No word what character it may be yet, but there is a pretty short list of who it may be if it’s a repack. A third deluxe may also indicate a third wave as well.
TVC Rumor Report: 5 New TVC Code Names
We have updated our Master List today with the addition of 5 new Vintage Collection code names – each one carrying a Maine city theme. These are tentatively part of one wave and with everything we know so far these will probably be released in 2023.
TBS Rumor Report: Gaming Greats 11 Preorder Coming Soon
Another Black Series Gaming Greats figure has surfaced in GameStop’s system. The identity is currently unknown for the 11th figure in the 2020 packaging design, but look for an announcement and preorder within the next couple weeks I’d imagine.
TVC Rumor Report: Specialty/Reissue Wave 2
We’ve received word of possible figures coming for the second Specialty/Reissue wave for 2022. The wave is said to consist of VC01 Dengar, VC106 Nien Nunb, VC55 Logray and VC111 Leia (Bespin Gown). Look for this specialty/reissue wave later this year.
Target Exclusive TVC Figures Now Available for Preorder
Target is now taking preorders for their 3 new exclusive* TVC figures from The Mandalorian:
Koska Reeves
Migs Mayfeld (Morak)
Axe Woves
Expected release: Fall 2022
*These 3 figures correlate with the rumored code names of Periwinkle, Violet and Mauve we discovered last year.
Retro Rumor Report: Who Is the Next Prototype Edition Figure?
2022 will continue Target’s annual trend started in 2019 of offering an exclusive Retro Collection Prototype Edition figure. So far, we have Darth Vader, Boba Fett and Imperial Stormtrooper – question is: who will be next? Precedent shows that it will most certainly utilize an existing mold and with the 2021 Stormtrooper having a colored weapon (one of 6 variants), I have a strong feeling that for 2022 we will see Chewbacca (with colored bowcaster) join in the multicolor madness.
Let it be stated, I have zero confirmation that it will be Chewie – just a feeling – but after some recent investigating in Target’s system, I do have strong evidence there is a new Prototype Edition figure code named “Eraser” for $13.99.
You may recall, based on our previous report, that Boba Fett had the code name “Chalk” and the Stormtrooper had the code name “Blackboard”, so “Eraser” fits rather nicely into this naming and pricing convention.
Obviously, no official information is known yet, so this is all speculation and rumor until then.
TVC Rumor Report: Another Deluxe TVC Exclusive?
Even though the blood isn’t dry on the last exclusive debacle with Target, this morning I did find evidence of another potential exclusive in their system. “Lawrence” is the code name for the as-of-yet unidentified item, but we do know the price ($26.49) and it falls in-line with the Walmart exclusive carded Deluxe TVC Mandalorian & Grogu (Maldo Kreis) “expression”.

TBS Rumor Report: Looking To The Future
Looking a couple waves into the future, according to sources, it appears that we’ll be seeing a wave consisting of primarily new Star Wars media. No word who the dupes or carry forwards in the case may be, but it is shaping to include: The Client, Death Watch Mandalorian, and Ahsoka Tano from The Mandalorian and Echo and Omega from The Bad Batch.
