Chewie, we’re home (still) after one of the biggest Star Wars events in recent memory so we’re back this week to discuss the highlights of Celebration Anaheim! There was a lot of news to come out of those four short days, including film, TV series, and game trailers plus new product reveals from the top license holders. But enough description, watch/listen to Episode 60 of The Realm Recap!
For a while now, it has felt to me that Hasbro’s pricing is out of control. I feel that way even more now after going shopping with my son over the weekend when he decided he wanted “more bang for his buck.”

Volkerc has posted another batch of Hasbro goodies at starwars-figuren.com, which really show that the last SA figures before the new launch this Fall have gotten back to the awesome TVC quality of figures that Hasbro is capable of.
If the quality is this good, perhaps the new asking price of $12.99 at most places may be worth it. Check them out by clicking on the image above, and share your thoughts in our forums.
Our friends at MakingStarWars.net have posted their transcription of their QnA rundown with Hasbro from Celebration Anaheim. We’ve included a nice little excerpt regarding the Black Series line below
Q: The Black Series line, as it is, is it continuing on to 2016 and beyond?
A: Yeah we have no plans to stop Black Series. It’s doing really well for us. We revealed the new Fall 2015 line look. It’s moving forward. We’ve had a lot of fans ask about Vintage and Droid Factory, both things we definitely want to get back to in the future but Black Series in terms of our pinnacle figure expression, that’s what it is and that’s how it’s continuing.
It appears that the often maligned Saga Legends assortment of figures has been placed on clearance at Target. Reader Rich S. writes in with a report from Spokane, WA on his find.
Hasbro has revealed that a 6″ Ahsoka from Star Wars Rebels is coming to The Black Series assortment in 2016. Here is an image courtesy of SithFire30 on Facebook.
UPDATE: Rebelscum has posted detailed images of Ahsoka. She’s gorgeous.
Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives and Jedi News are on the show floor for Celebration Anaheim’s Preview Night and the have provided a great detailed look at new revamped packaging for the 6″ Black Series. It is 1000X better than the orange and blue versions to be sure. Head on over to their respective sites to check these out as well as carded images of The Black Series.
Our friends at JediNews are on the floor at Star Wars Celebration and have been snapping photo of the set up progress. One image caught my eye in particular as it appears that The Black Series is getting a color change again from blue to red and possibly a switch to Chewbacca from the current TIE Pilot. Note the “2015 New Series” text on the side of the display cabinet. You can check out the full image via Instagram or Twitter.
It’s time to crack open some custom fodder, as a new Yakfinities Customizing Challenge has just kicked off in our forums – Rebel Militia! For all the details, click here!
