The dates for Hasbro Pulse Con 2022 have been revealed: September 30 through October 1, 2022. Like previous years, look for reveals, sneak peeks and product preorders for Vintage Collection, Black Series and more.
Hasbro announced today through various fan sites the reveal of the Amazon exclusive Bounty Hunter Set featuring Boba Fett and Bossk. This will be available for preorder tomorrow at 1pm ET.
Listings for the first wave of 40th Anniversary Black Series figures for Return of the Jedi are starting to show up in Target and Walmart systems. No character names yet.
Target exclusive Retro Collection Chewbacca (Prototype Editon) has started to surface in stores. This group was found in Richmond, VA – image via sandman804 on IG.
A possible new Target exclusive has surfaced for the Vintage Collection code named “Victoria”. This figure is priced at $22.99 – $2 more than the exclusive TVC Boba Fett (Morak). It is unknown what character it may be or its expected release date. DPCI: 087-26-0110 / TCIN: 87046824
In Demand Toys has posted one of the Convention Exclusives planned for this year on Facebook. The Vintage Collection The Rescue Set features the Dark Trooper, The Mandalorian, Grogu and Moff Gideon — all of which have new accessories and to differentiate them from previous releases. No price is listed yet but look for this to be available for preorder exclusively at Hasbro Pulse as part of their SDCC reveals.
Above you can see several examples of apparent QC issues with the new Deluxe TVC Boba Fett (Tatooine) figure. From shoddy paint apps to poor assembly to various states of limb loss, paying the exorbitant MSRP for this figure should warrant a better world-building experience.
Amazon has started to ship new figures including TVC Reva (Third Sister), TVC Obi-Wan Kenobi (Wandering Jedi), TVC Anakin Skywalker (Padawan), TBS Princess Leia (Ewok Village) and more. Check the status of your preorders for any revised ship dates for these figures and more.
Amazon has started processing and shipping preorders for the Vintage Collection Boba Fett (Tatooine) figure as well as the Black Series George Lucas (in Stormtrooper Disguise) figure. Collectors can expect them to start arriving this week.

A couple weeks ago, I posted 17 new code names corresponding to figures in the Vintage Collection. What I failed to notice at the time was that even though they all share the $14.99 pricepoint, there is a new DPCI (087-26-9848)* at Target for these as well. Normally when there is a DPCI change it correlates to a new product line/assortment but I have a sneaking suspicion these figures may all fall into the rumored plastic-free packaging design (PFP). I guess we’ll all have to wait for the official announcement to know for certain.
*Current DPCI for mainline TVC is 087-16-6045
