Based on some searching last night, I have been able to determine that cases of the Walmart Exclusive TVC Paploo “Oval” figure have arrived in the U.S. Hopefully this means the other two (Endor Leia and AT-ST Driver) are not too far behind and they will be up for order soon.
UPDATE: preorder for new TVC items will launch on March 15 at 1pm ET – thanks to Chad R. For the alert.
Yesterday as part of the Fan Celebration event, Hasbro revealed the official images for the upcoming TVC figures for IG-11 from The Mandalorian and Lando Calrissian from The Empire Strikes Back and both look fantastic! Look for these figures later this year with two figures from Return of the Jedi.
Yakface Reader Mike N. shared these new in-hand shots of the next wave of TVC figures that have apparantly started to hit Target in AZ and were listed on eBay and Mercari. The VC numbering is a follows:
Recent shipping information shows that cases of the 6″ Deluxe Boba Fett (ROTJ) has started to arrive at Hasbro’s warehouse in Canada. Hopefully an image of the final production piece surfaces soon.
StarWars-Figuren has posted card back images of the 3 Walmart exclusive figures coming later this year. And they confirm the VC numeration for them as well as design changes which incorporte the 50th Anniversary timeline as previously seen on the newer Black Series Archive waves. The numbers breakdown as follows:
Reports are coming in that the newest repack/reissue wave of TVC figures has started to hit Walmarts across the U.S. For long time collectors these sculpts are probably in your collections already, but the human figures have been updated with Hasbro’s PhotoReal process and the card backs are different than previously released.
As mentioned on Hasbro’s last Fan First Friday, they’ve gone back and tweaked the cardback for the upcoming TVC Boba Fett (ROTJ) figure to more closely match the original Kenner release. The accent color has been adjusted to yellow and the reference photo has been zoom out for a “better” look at the character. The first orange version (left above) will be available initially then replaced as a running change.
