Hasbro prefaces their own upcoming Fan First Friday livestream with in-hand images (courtesy of C|Net) of the physical prototype of the Haslab Black Series Rancor giving (potential) backers a better sense of scale for the beast. Hasbro will be taking to YouTube this (Fan First) Friday, November 19, at 11am ET to reveal the first painted model and remaining tiers for the Haslab Black Series Rancor.
Hasbro has revealed the second tier/stretch goal for the Haslab Black Series Rancor. Tier 2 includes a set of bones and a cardboard backdrop for ” world-building” and unlocks at 13,500 units backed.
Hasbro revealed the first tier in their Haslab Black Series Rancor campaign and it made many squeal – and not in the good way. Hasbro choose to lead off their first tier with a repack of the Target Exclusive 6″ Gamorrean Guard but on a POTF cardback with coin. This figure is unlocked at 11,000 units sold.
As if last weekend’s reveals, yesterday’s reveals and today’s preorders weren’t enough, Hasbro gave Pulse Premium Members an inside look at Hasbro HQ and debuted our first looks at 4 new Black Series figures: the Jedha Patrol Stormtrooper, Omega, Echo and Bib Fortuna. No preorders were made available (nor date given) for these, despite other brands getting new items, and there was nothing for the Vintage Collection shown off.
Hasbro has officially launched the crowd-funded Haslab Black Series Rancor campaign with 4 bonus tiers to be revealed as the stretch goals are reached. Price is set at $349.99 and ends at midnight on December 6, 2021. Head over for the details.
We’ve read and received dozens of reports of collectors finding the newest wave of Vintage Collection figures at Target and Walmart. Hat tip to Hasbro in getting more TVC figures to shelves.
Walmart’s newest wave of exclusive TVC figures are now shipping via online orders. However, it seems it may be difficult to find cardbacks in pristine condition once again thanks to Walmart’s handling of their product.
Plus, be very careful with the Tusken Raider’s right hand… seems many copies of the figure suffer from the joint being fused, which means these may easily snap.
Hasbro/Hasbro Pulse has taken to social media to re-confirm the pending Haslab Black Series Rancor campaign. Expect it to launch around Hasbro Pulse Con. The HasbroPulse has a added a preview page to their site.
