Rumor Report: Black Series “Chair” Roleplay item Up for PReorder next Week?

Word is there may be another Black Series roleplay item up for preorder next week. If you recall, the Wedge Antilles Helmet had a code name of “Couch” while this new item has a code name of “Chair” – the furniture theme seems to indicate they’d be part of the same segment of collectibles. Could it be Rey’s yellow lightsaber from TROS or something wearable. We shall see in a couple of days.

Rumor Report: 2-3 More Black Series Gaming Greats Preorder to Open at GameStop Next Week?

As part of next week’s May the 4th festivities, watch for 2, maybe 3, 6″ Black Series Gaming Greats figures to go up for preorder at GameStop. It is unknown at this time who they are or what game they are from but rest assured it will be a busy day for preorders for Black Series and Vintage Collection items from various retailers.

Rumor Report Update: 3 New Walmart Exclusive TVC Figures

As a follow up to our report from last month, the three new shape codes “Triangle”, “Square” and “Rectangle” we received now show up on the Walmart app and after some additional research we have determined that these are indeed exclusive to Walmart. They are priced similarily ($12.99) to the exclusive Endor Leia, Paploo and AT-ST Driver TVC figures and ship in their own case packs of 6. ETA is still unknown as is their secondary code name and identity. More as we learn more.

Rumor Report: Target Exclusive Black Series Figures Set to Arrive May 19 (Street Date TbD)

Following up on some previous reports here and here, I received info that the 4 rumored Target Exclusive Black Series figures “SUN”, “SNOW”, “RAIN” and “WIND” are on the way to Target distribution centers and have an expected arrival date in stores on or about May 19. (Street date TBD). It’s a good bet that these will be revealed as part of the May the 4th festivities planned – unless they leak prior to then. It is unknown which figures they all are except for one which I was told is some version of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Thanks to TargetGod for the assist.

Rumor Report: New Black Series Mandalorian Season 2 Figure Listing

A new 6″ Black Series figure listing has been found on the Australian and Italian Amazon sites. It is unknown who the character is but Amazon AU lists it as being a character from The Mandalorian Season 2. As we’ve previously reported, this figure also has dual code names for the same Hasbro SKU: “Cheetah” and “Haiku”. Thanks to JTPrime for bringing this to our attention.

Rumor Report: More Preorders Coming Soon?

It’s hard to know what to expect with Hasbro’s upcoming Fan Fest in two weeks, but it looks like there are several preorders coming judging by the 12 listings added to certain vendor’s website. The new listings break evenly between Vintage Collection and Black Series, which is nice, but I believe four of the TVC figures are for the upcoming repack/repaint wave. The two “new” TVC listings feature code names I haven’t seen until now “FOUNTAIN” and “MARKER” – these may line up with the rumored TVC Gaming Greats figures but it’s difficult to know at this point until I find some additional info and with the doubling up of code names now. As for the Black Series figures, these should all be from the next wave and feature Aurra Sing, Tech, Q9-0 and others.

Since we’re still a couple weeks out, details may change so stay tuned.

Rumor Report: 3 New “Shape” Code Names for TVC

Tonight I received 3 new code names from a source for upcoming figures for the Vintage Collection designated as “Rectangle”, “Square” and “Triangle”. As you may recall from early in February, we we able to determine that the 3 new Walmart exclusive figure for Paploo, Endor Leia and AT-ST Driver also had shape-themed names (“Oval”, “Octagon”, “Circle”). Could these new three also be Walmart exclusives AND be part of the “Finish the 96” campaign? Time will tell, but they are currently not in Walmart’s system. We’ll update as we learn more info.
