As we prepare to gear up our coverage for this year’s SDCC we’d like to suggest that you enable notifications for your mobile devices. We are also conscience that some may not like the constant notfications as well so we suggest turning them OFF if so inclined.

We know you are all eager to see what’s in store for the Star Wars line in the coming months, and our friends at Rebelscum have posted the first SDCC gallery for your viewing pleasure. Not a lot of newness yet (to be expected) but there are a few items and they hint at: the 6″ Imperial TIE Fighter Pilot and Troop Transport from Star Wars Rebels! MTV.com gets a SDCC reveal this week with the announcement of the LEGO Star Wars Rebels Wookiee Gunship set.

The official site has posted their 2014 checklist of exclusives available at SDCC this year, and within the listings they announce the Star Wars Celebration Pin Trading Program. Artist Christopher Lee (whom you may recall from last year with this great Vintage-style poster) is lending his talents to produce a series of 45 unique character pins/badges – the first of which will be available at SDCC when you purchase a ticket for Star Wars Celebration Anaheim from the Lucasfilm Pavillion (Booth #2913).
The Associated Press has published a story about the Mattel’s Hot Wheels partnership with Lucasfilm and Disney, detailing the features of the life-size, full drivable Darth Vader car that will be on display. They also reveal the names of a few new character cars as well as some that are in the works.
Our friends at JediNews have also exclusively debuted the 501st Clone Trooper Character Car.

Walgreens.com has updated their website giving us our first look at the packaging for the upcoming Exclusive Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) figure (first revealed by Star Wars Action News). Official details on its release will be announced at SDCC.
