Retro Prototype Vader A No Show (For the Most Part)

Although today was stated by Target’s corporate site as the release date for the Retro Collection Prototype Darth Vader, most stores have not received any of these figures. Fortunately a check this morning via the Target website at a store in Ocean, NJ yielded 34 of them. Some were set in the Funko section and two pegs worth in the Star Wars section. Best of luck to those on the hunt and thanks to Jonathan R. for the hook up.

Update: Retro Collection Available Today on Entertainment Earth

Sponsor Entertainment Earth will be taking orders at 9am PT for Hasbro’s Retro Collection of figures which includes Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Stormtrooper, and Luke Skywalker. If you missed out on these through Target, now is your chance to secure them. We will update this post later with the direct product links.

Target Exclusive 10″ Funko POP! D-O Info Found

It appears that the new droid sidekick, D-O, from The Rise of Skywalker will be getting the 10″ Funko POP! treatment as a new listing with the code name “Limerick” has surfaced in Target’s system. We first reported the code name back in February, and started compiling evidence attributing the name to D-O ever since, tying it to products for the Black Series and interactive/radio controlled droids. The DPCI for the 10″ POP is 323-01-7303 and retails for $29.99

Who Will Lead Your Army?

Hasbro has recently released two very good Stormtrooper figures in the TVC line… ANH Han Solo (removable helmet w/ photo-real technology; Target exclusive) and a basic trooper that marches right out of 2016’s Rogue One.

Now that I have a few of each in my collection, I have my own preference and know which one I plan to “army-build” – but what does everyone else think, or plan to do?  Share your thoughts here or in our forums after the jump!
