I managed to locate images on Amazon for that rumored Vintage Collection “Bruges Build Up Pack” we’ve been hearing about for a while now. No details are really known, but it looks to include 3 Sith Trooper each with their own weaponry – comparable to what was packed with the exclusive 6″ Black Series version. Click on through for some larger images.
Update: NYCC has confirmed that this is a special TVC exclusive figure that includes all of the weapons on a single card.
Absent from most retailers thus far is Poe’s X-Wing. However, Yakface reader i_kick did find it today at Barnes & Noble (along with the new wave of TVC figures).
DorksideToys has opened up their Triple Force Friday section ready for ordering. Most figures are available as singles or in their respective case assortments. Available items include the Vintage Collection, Black Series, Galaxy of Adventures, and more.
For your viewing pleasure here are the cards for the upcoming TVC Shadow Trooper and Sith Trooper which are part of the second wave of TVC launch for Triple Force Friday and beyond. Click on through for larger carded and loose images.
Guest spot number 2 this week as I joined the guys at Galaxy of Toys to discuss some of the latest Triple Force Friday news as well as our top figures we’d like to see in the Vintage Collection.
In this episode we are once again joined by Jayson at Yakface.com to discuss recent Star Wars collecting news, as well as give our picks on our most wanted Star Wars The Vintage Collection figures from Hasbro.
While browsing the Star Wars landing page on Target.com I noticed a curious group of figures in one of the banners promoting their Triple Force Friday launch. It features Luke Skywalker (Dagobah Training), Yoda and Darth Vader and that Luke figure definitely appears to have a photo reveal face.
Does this image confirm our rumor last week of a Vintage Collection “Darth Vader’s Challenge” set? We should know soon enough.
The other day I managed to purchase a few new items at Target (they were not register blocked nor did I resort to any trickery or sweet talking) one of which was the new 5” Galaxy of Adventures Darth Vader. Above is a quick size comparison showing how this new line measures up with others. For $10 and with as much articulation as a TVC or TBS figure, this line is pretty nice.
Another small tidbit is that there currently is no location shown on Target’s planogram for the Vintage Collection Poe’s X-wing Fighter for their aisle reset for Triple Force Friday.
Back in June, we exclusively reported on a mystery Vintage Collection vehicle from The Mandalorian was coming soon. Based on yesterday’s reveals and cross referencing the product number against shipping manifest info, I can confirm that the vehicle formerly referred to as “Huckleberry Hoodboat” is the Best Buy Exclusive AT-ST Raider.
This vehicle was listed on shipping manifests starting on Sept 14, so they should be at Best Buy for Triple Force Friday.
