Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives have released images taken of Walmart’s inventory systems which confirm their list of upcoming Black Series 3-3/4″ figures. Let’s hope that Hasbro’s quality and availability of these figures live up to expectations. Head on over to check out the evidence.

More Wal-Mart Exclusives at Discounter Ross
Our friends at Jeditemplearchives are reporting more finds of last year’s Wal-Mart exclusive Vulture Droid and Dewback at Ross stores for $13.99 each (complete with Wal-Mart exclusive stickers!).
If you’ve been holding out on these, this is a great price for some of the better product from 2012.
Older TVC Continues to Ship to TRU
Last year’s third wave of TVC is continuing to show up in greater numbers now (about a year late!), which is good in a sense, but also one has to wonder if things would be better if this wave just showed up at discounters instead; considering this wave (like Wave 2) is smothered in seven more TPM carry forwards.
On any note, Toys”R”us seems to be the best place to have a chance at scoring newer figures lately, but reports are also coming in that Wal-Mart and Target are finally receiving more TVC shipments as well. Good luck, and as always, your experience will vary.
Zellers Chain to Transition to Target
In other Target news today, our friends at Galactic Hunter are reporting that the Canadian retail chain, Zellers, is converting a majority of its store to the Target brands, with a few other stores taking on the Walmart name. Visit o.Canada.com for more details.
More SW Items On Clearance at Walmart
As a follow up to our report earlier today, I ventured out to my local Walmart and found not only the MTT on clearance but other items as well. Click on through to check out what I found.

Thanks to Scott W. for the tip.
Deluxe Dropships Landing
One of the cooler deluxe items from the Clone Wars has started showing up in heavier numbers recently, with sightings at various Wal-Mart and Target stores. Keep your eyes peeled for this one as two of the three times I’ve seen it, it’s been stuffed behind dust collecting Darth Maul speeders and also some STAP vehicles.
Of course if you don’t luck out and find one soon, there’s always a good chance that you’ll see these dumped at places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls next year…
Older Waves Continue to Surface
By most accounts, this has been a dismal year at retail for the Star Wars line, starting with a massive overproduction of the first wave of vintage, followed up by Hasbro carrying forward far too many TPM figures in subsequent waves that ended up creating a terrible logjam at retail – so many amazing figures this year have been nearly impossible to score at retail thanks to this disaster.
However, there are still rays of hope, as with Christmas rapidly approaching, retailers are beginning to stock the pegs a little more frequently with waves we expected to be able to find over the summer (better late than never, right?).
If you’re brave enough to fight the crowds at retail, and are persistent enough, you just might be able to score a few late gems this year – I’ve personally seen the Evazan wave three different times (all at different retailers) over the past two weeks, and other forum members are reporting similar finds.
Update: Walmart Black Friday 8-Packs
Our friend JD has sent in a few more images of the Walmart 8-pks revealing that some of those hard to find light-up figures and others (Anakin, Padme, Jar Jar) from Movie Heroes wave 2 will be included in these sets as well. Click on through for a few more images.
