After a very tough run for Star Wars at retail, it seems like things are actually starting to improve – especially at Toys”R”us. Today I ran into the best selection of action-figure related Star Wars merchandise that I’ve seen anywhere in a long, long time. How goes it in your area? Let us know after the jump!
Toys”R”us is having a one-day sale that appears to have slipped under the radar – the Battle on Endor Battle Pack! Most of us already have the pack-ins from this set and it seems many of our forum members see this set as a waste of time, but it’s still a good value for this price. Sale valid in-store and online
Have you bought this set yet or does this sale price push you toward finally making this purchase? Head on over the forums and share your thoughts.
Personal Note: I think Hasbro should have dumped the AT-ST and added in the new Speederbike mold and a slightly revised POTF2 Endor Bunker (with new doors and new paint scheme) instead. I know I would have been more likely to purchase this set if that were the case, and I have a hunch many of you would have too.
The new Rebels vehicles have been showing up at various retailers recently, and now Target stores are getting in on the fun with their exclusive versions, which come with bonus pack-in figures. For $24.99 it’s hard to find anything complain about – even when Hasbro packs the figures upside down.
A new installment in The Enloe Trials Photonovel Series is under production, and we’ve got an exclusive sneak peek to share.

This weekend we highlight the jaw dropping custom playset work by forum member jrnyfan. He has made numerous custom playsets and shows a teaser of his work in his customizing thread where you can leave him your feedback here.
He’s also got a lot more to show at his site, plasticplaysets.com – and the best thing is, you can even order some diorama pieces for your own collections too, by clicking here.
Personal Note: Get it together, Hasbro. You’ve had this license forever and have totally missed the boat with dioramas and playsets and focused on doomed gimmicks instead. Innovative collectors from all over the world are finding ways to make their collections feel more complete, and are willing to spend good money for nice sets to display their figures in…
On November 2/3, Rhode Island Comic Con will be held, and in attendance for the first time as a vendor will be Hole in the Ground Productions. If you’re in that area and make the show, be sure to swing by their booth as they will have a full stock of their custom movie props and custom diorama items available.
This weekend we run a well overdue Customizer Spotlight on the amazing work of forum member Peakob1. Just imagine how much more exciting the Clone Wars line would have been in 2012 with attention to detail (and variety of characters) like this!
